Newborn Photography

January was the month of newborn girls. There were a lot of pinks, peonies, and pretty floral headbands. This mom only wanted images of her newborn (no family photos) and a real mix of nude and wrapped images to capture her details.

We typically capture newborns under 14 days old; however, from time to time, newborns can’t come in until three weeks - one 1-month-old. Those sessions are very different as we generally have to wrap the baby a lot. Newborns start to really feel that they are out of the womb over 14 days and tend to stretch out a little more, not be as sleepy and are much harder to pose.

This lovely little lady was three weeks old, completely content, and allowed us to capture a large assortment of photos. Look out for her prints which should be in any day.
